Welcome to LIAB-net!  This is a 20+ year passion project, to host commercial-grade network services on hardware that I personally own, connected to the Internet over my own connection.  Originally a joke between friends, the name “Losers in a Basement” became the name of our gaming clan back when that was still a big deal.  Now as far as I can tell I am the last remaining Loser who still claims the title!

As stated all services are locally hosted, on personally owned hardware.  As such all services come as-is, with no warranty or guarantee.  The following services are currently (or soon will be) available:

· Plex Media Server, currently with over 300 movies and 40 television series

· AI playground, equipped with both language and image models.

· Legacy Game Servers (coming soon)

o Planned games:  Quake MegaTF, Battlefield:  Vietnam, Call of Duty 4, Unreal Tournament GOTY…. Possibly even some really old stuff like MUDs!

All this is made possible by my Enterprise-grade server:  A Dell PowerEdge R640xd.  As of the moment this server is equipped with dual Intel Xeon Gold 6150 CPUs, dual NVIDIA Tesla P100 GPUs, 128GB of RAM, dual 10Gb and dual 1Gb Ethernet, two 800GB Intel SSDs and one Western Digital Black 4TB HDD.  This computer runs Ubuntu 22.04 with virtualization and container services installed, to allow the most efficient delivery of services.
